Cinnamon Works at Home - Because Everyone Deserves a Treat

Gluten Free

Gluten is a protein commonly found in wheat, barley and rye. Increasing numbers of people are finding that following a gluten-free diet helps to improve many aspects of their health. Why gluten?  Gluten has a complex molecular structure and is most often undigested.  Some people's bodies, however, recognize gluten as a foreign substance and have an inflammatory response.  The resulting symptoms may be specific to the digestive tract though may also appear as a host of other medical problems involving other body systems.

The most recognized form of this "gluten intolerance" is celiac disease.  The treatment for celiac disease is a gluten-free diet.

One of the best information sources for gluten-free eating is Shauna Ahern's blog Gluten-free Girl and the Chef - It's funny, personal, and includes a comprehensive resource list.

We are proud to be able to provide treats for people who pursue a gluten-free diet.

 Vegan

Many people choose to follow a vegan diet for various reasons. These  may include health concerns, philosophical reasons and concerns about how animals are treated and the impact of our consumption on our environment  A vegan diet avoids animal products including meat, dairy and eggs.  Finding decent baked yummies is often a challenge, and one we are happy to help with.
