Adding Ingredients to Our Mixes
Cinnamon Works
at Home mixes provide you with the essentials you need that are not
easily found in your local grocery; you add some of the wet and/or
refrigerated ingredients. For example, the monster cookie requires that
you add peanut butter, eggs, vanilla and butter. The shortbread cookie
requires adding butter or soy margarine. Your mix will provide you with
complete baking instructions and parchment paper for your baking sheets.
Baking with Gluten-free Products
Gluten is a key ingredient in wheat flour providing elasticity, holding many baked goods together, and stretching with the rising. Without it, cakes and cookies can become dense and easily crumble or fall apart. If you're used to baking with regular flour, you will notice some differences when you make our gluten-free mixes. The final mix before baking sometimes feels more granular and less "sticky." Additionally the products need to be mostly cool before removing from the pan.
